01

Start with the disruption

Name the component, current manufacturing country and the reason the existing supply route is being reviewed. A complete drawing is useful but not required to understand whether grade, origin or export timing is the first question. Include the delivery assumption that is failing today: factory production, export approval, freight, minimum order or access to the approved grade. Separating those causes prevents a broad supplier search from answering the wrong problem.

02

Prepare the technical core

When available, gather the controlled drawing, exact grade, maximum operating temperature, coating, magnetization direction, prototype quantity, annual volume and required manufacturing origin. Mark unknown fields rather than guessing. A potential source should repeat the offered specification and list deviations, so the first conversation should distinguish fixed requirements from preferences and open engineering questions.

What happens next

01

You get a reply within one business day with the questions still missing to make your request quotable.

02

We approach potential manufacturing sources with the same specification for all of them.

03

You receive the responses in a normalized comparison, with each supplier’s deviations listed separately.

Cardinal is paid a commission by the selected manufacturer. There is no fee or markup on your side: the quoted price is the same with Cardinal or without.
