The problem I am organizing around
Since April 2025, China has required non-automatic export licences for SmCo magnets and for NdFeB magnets containing dysprosium or terbium. Applications frequently remain unresolved for 60–120 days or longer, with no statutory review period. A supplier can therefore quote a credible factory production time while the actual export date remains uncertain. I start the comparison by separating those timelines and identifying which grade or composition creates the exposure.
